Sugar and Spice and Everything Nice

My dear friend Jody is having a baby girl any day now! Back in August me and a couple other girls threw her a very cute baby shower (if I do say so myself!). This was by NO means all me, I only partnered with 2 others and together we were able to put together a great shower!

For the invitations we just used textured cardstock and printed with dark brown ink. Then added some ribbion and a button!

Love for cards

This is a blog I have wanted to start for a long time now, but never felt like I had anything worth while to put in a blog. Thankfully I have some amazing friends that encouraged me to do it, so here it is! I figure if no one likes it oh well, at least I have organized some of my ideas for my own benefit!

So here is my very first post!

I love to make cards, I just think there is something so special about giving someone a card in the first place and to top it off making it yourself is even more special! I have realized the key to card making is to make a few cards that are the similar if not the same. It sometimes takes me a long time deciding the design of a card, so to spend all that time looking for an idea and only making one little card......poor choice.

Father's Day cards- super simple, and just made 2 of the exact same (my dad and father-in-law will never know....)

Here is another card I made. Sometimes it is nice to make a bunch of cards that are not necessarily designated birthday cards or thank you cards, that way you can use them for whatever and whenever a situation arises!
